PHP Website Compromised By Hackers

Malware may have infected visitors to PHP website.

If you visited the official website for the PHP programming language on Tuesday October 22nd you would have encountered a warning that the site contained Malware. The site was blacklisted by Google Safe Browsing on Tuesday as a result of hackers injecting malicious JavaScript code into the site.

The code was programmed to scan the browsers of visitors, searching for vulnerable plugins. The malware also executed code which, if successful, installed malware onto the user’s computer.
