Goin’ Mobile with the FFIEC!

Dan Hadaway CRISC, CISA, CISM will be presenting a workshop on Mobile Security and BYOD at the Indiana Bankers Association on March 27th. The name of the workshop is “Mobile Security and the FFIEC: Going Mobile, Not Nuts!” Though Dan is still “writing the workshop” it will be centered around “all things mobile” including wireless or mobile banking, byod, wireless access points and wireless network risk, etc. “I want this one to provide a customized deliverable to all attendees,” says Dan when we ask him how it’s going. “I’m hoping I can get lots of clients and friends to attend because then it’ll be a blast and we’ll all get a lot out of it.”

Dan has been investigating mobile security, wireless banking, and byod since he first spoke on the issue at a conference in 2008. “We have lots of boilerplates, templates, even dinner plates to bring to the table.”
