FFIEC Phishing Alert

Fraudulent emails have been sent out under the email address of “Inform@ ffiec.gov” with the subject line “FFIEC case number 35412” regarding a “subpoena” or “suspect activity on account.” The wording in some of the messages varies, but all are malicious.

The FFIEC has not sent any such emails. If you receive this email you should alert the proper authorities at your company/organization/agency for guidance on how to discard this suspicious email. Under no circumstances should you reply to these messages, open any attachments, or click on any link within these messages.
