If you’re part of an educational institution you’ve probably heard of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, or FERPA, but do you know the role it plays in incident response? If you don’t, fear not because the Department of Education has released a data breach response checklist to help.
Look for infotex to get our arms around any difference between incident response for schools and for other government regulated institutions.
