A Milestone in infotex’s Journey

Introducing Our Newly Named SIEM

New Name, Same Great SIEM!

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our company’s history: for the first time ever, our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system has been given a name. While we’ve been providing top-notch SIEM services for 20+ years, this marks a new chapter in our journey to enhance cybersecurity for community banks and industries aiming to protect their money, people, and reputation. Our company, infotex, has been dedicated to cybersecurity since its inception in 2000, and naming our SIEM underscores its importance and the comprehensive protection it offers.

A Name Reflecting Our Approach

The new name reflects the robust, multi-layered security approach that our SIEM embodies. It’s not just an application; it’s a holistic process involving three essential teams working in unison to monitor and safeguard critical networks effectively. These three teams are:

  1. Internal Technical Team: This team is the first line of defense, ensuring the network infrastructure is secure and up-to-date with the latest security patches and configurations.
  2. Security Operations Center (SOC) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP): A SOC or MSSP provides continuous monitoring and management of security events, ensuring potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.
  3. Incident Response Team: When a threat is detected, the Incident Response Team steps in to mitigate the impact, conduct thorough investigations, and implement measures to prevent future incidents.

A Unified Front Against Cyber Threats

In our digital battleground, the stakes are incredibly high. The adversaries we face—the “bad guys”—can fail repeatedly without significant consequences, refining their attacks with each attempt. In contrast, we, the “good guys” and protectors, must strive for perfection, as a single oversight can have severe repercussions.

Our SIEM symbolizes our commitment to vigilance, collaboration, and resilience. By fostering a strong alliance between the internal technical team, SOC or MSSP, and the Incident Response Team, we create a formidable defense mechanism that adapts and responds to evolving threats. This collaboration is essential for staying ahead of cybercriminals and ensuring our clients’ critical assets remain secure.

A Legacy of Trust and Innovation

Since 2000, infotex has been at the forefront of cybersecurity, delivering innovative solutions and trusted services to community banks and other industries. Naming our SIEM is not just about branding; it’s about reinforcing the message that we are continually evolving and enhancing our services to meet the growing challenges of cybersecurity.

We are proud of the legacy we have built over the past two decades, and our newly named SIEM represents our unwavering dedication to protecting our clients’ money, people, and reputation. As we move forward, we are excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and remain committed to providing the highest level of security through our comprehensive and collaborative approach.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we will continue to stand strong against the ever-present threats in the cyber landscape.

And the name? Well, let’s just say it’s worth the wait. Stay tuned!
