A Cincinnati native, Sean Waugh earned his B.S. in Telecommunications and Networking Technology from Purdue University before joining infotex as a NOC Associate in 2005. Over the years, Sean has witnessed and contributed to the company’s growth, working under three leaders before naturally stepping into a leadership role himself.
By 2007, Sean had taken on the role of Lead Technical Auditor, conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and social engineering tests as part of infotex’s IT audits. His hands-on expertise made him a key player in helping community banks and small businesses strengthen their cybersecurity defenses.
In 2012, Sean was promoted to Information Security Officer. In this role, he oversees policy enforcement and development, ensuring infotex stays ahead of evolving security risks. He also manages the technical staff, spearheading the ongoing evolution of infotex’s infrastructure and managed services.
Known for his methodical approach and deep technical expertise, Sean is a trusted resource for clients navigating complex cybersecurity challenges. His dedication to excellence has helped solidify infotex’s reputation as a leading managed security service provider (MSSP) for community banks.
