New Guidance On Business Continuity Is Now Available…

As part of a continuing effort to remain up-to-date as technology evolves, the FFIEC has announced the first updates to their guidance on business continuity management since 2015. The new Business Continuity Management Booklet is available now and describes “principles and practices for information technology (IT) and operations designed to achieve safety and soundness, consumer financial protection, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules.” The newly revised booklet outlines the principles that examiners use when evaluating an institution’s readiness for an incident, including not only response plans but also the maintenance of systems and policies that go into a potential response.
