You may believe uploading data to the cloud is safe. But is it really? You may be making your sensitive information readily available to hackers and data thieves. Make sure you contact your ISO BEFORE uploading data to cloud storage.

Use this awareness poster to remind yourself and others to contact the information security officer (ISO) BEFORE deciding to upload data to the cloud.

  1. Wonderful poster! Considering the amount of information some people enter in their smartphone contact lists, I wonder if employees may be violating customer privacy by using a cloud service to back their contact lists or by uploading their contact list indiscriminately to a social media site for whatever reason. Just sayin’!
