Introducing Steven Jakubin

NEW EMPLOYEE FOR INFOTEX

infotex has hired Steven Jakubin, to be a Data Security Analyst.

“When I first interviewed Steve, he presented a network/system diagram of his home network that rivaled our own. His professional etiquette and studious work ethic are already having a positive impact on our systems. We are excited to welcome Steve and look forward to him becoming a core member of our security teams” says Michael Hartke, Programming Coordinator/Analyst of infotex.

 “Steven brings strong technical ability and initiative to the infotex Security Operations Center. We look forward to leveraging his abilities as both a SOC Analyst and SOC Engineer as we grow” says Chad Smith, SOC Manger/Senior SOC Analyst of infotex.

“I am glad to be part of such a diverse and talented team. Seeing the amazing work done behind the scenes at infotex really got me excited for the future here.” Steven said.

Steven joined infotex in 2021 while attaining his B.S. in Cybersecurity at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

Steven has held technical intern positions for various public and private sector organizations and is excited to bring his military-trained analytical skills into his new Data Security Analyst role at infotex!

Outside of working on new technologies in his home lab, Steven enjoys landscape photography, 3D printing, and hanging out with friends and family.

infotex is a Managed Security Operations Center and is a Preferred Service Provider of the Indiana Bankers Association.  infotex is based in central Indiana and works primarily with banks, credit unions, and schools.
