Dan Hadaway, CISA, CISM, CRISC
With extensive experience in IT governance, software development, and network installation projects, Dan led various initiatives before founding infotex in 2000. He works closely with community banks, utilizing risk management fundamentals to guide them on compliance. A sought-after speaker, Dan facilitates cybersecurity and technology conferences, develops content, and writes for trade magazines and his blog. Residing in Lafayette, Indiana, with his wife, Stacey, Dan enjoys music, philosophy, and following his daughters’ careers.

Stacey Hadaway

Stacey Hadaway
During the early 1990s, Stacey was the Accounting Department Coordinator for a medium-sized business (200 employees), and since then she has owned her own company (small music store in West Lafayette) and worked for two banks as a teller. Stacey joined the infotex team in 2010 as Accounting Manager. In 2012, when three of the original four owners of infotex wanted to sell the company to a third party, Stacey stepped in and arranged the financing for her and Dan, her husband, to purchase the company. She then focused on our profitability and stability. Our company is “stable” thanks to Stacey’s leadership.

Michael Hartke

Michael Hartke
Michael Hartke joined infotex in 2008 as a Data Security Analyst, rapidly advancing to Senior NOC Associate and joining the internal Tech Team. As Programming Coordinator, Michael developed the infotex SIEM and implemented additional services like Rogue Device Detection and Non-Reporting Devices systems. He continues to support and develop internal threat hunting tools, oversee incident response for clients, and ensures SOC offerings exceed client expectations. An experienced speaker, Michael frequently presents at cybersecurity conferences and leads infotex webinars on incident response, awareness, and cybersecurity.

The last thirty years have seen an evolution of frameworks, laws, and assessment approaches to information security which can intimidate the management team with their complexity. This webinar will discuss the four basic truths of system security regardless of frameworks or approach, and eight control systems to manage information security risk. If management understands these basics, as well as the eight control systems, it will be easier for the team to understand and navigate the many different frameworks and approaches out there today.
What are the top seven risks your board should know about in 2023? Since 2006, we have been compiling a list of the “top seven risks small institutions are facing,” in preparation for our board presentations. This webinar will present the 2023 list in a manner that you can show to your board! (See the 2019 movie on how to present this to your board.) Your auditors want you to start training your board, this movie will help them “see” what most small banks are “seeing” at the board level. More importantly, it will kick the year off in the right fashion, and ensure continued maintenance of your security culture.
This is great webinar-video for ISO’s needing material to take into the board meeting!
