Worm Increases

By Dan Hadaway | Saturday, November 22, 2003 - Leave a Comment

We’re seeing a significant rise in the number of Klez, LoveSan, and Sobig infected emails through our servers and our Sifter filtering service. This is sometimes an indication of a failed patch or a variant of one of these worms that is particularly more effective than it’s parent.

This is only preliminary information, but we would encourage you to take a quick look at your mail and antivirus systems to be sure you’re up to date.
