- From there are links to credit bureaus, reporting sites, and fraud alert sites.
- Internet Crime Compliant Center (IC3)
- Starting point for investigating scams, frauds, and malware.
- Snopes
- Still a good site for confirming urban legends, scams, etc.
Don’t be fooled again! Be careful that sites you use to report and monitor identity theft situations are bona fide government sites (sites that end with .gov) or sites that are properly secured and vetted (sites that begin with https.)
