Executive Assistant Position

Full time position based in downtown Lafayette, Indiana.

Small firm needs administrative help, could grow into a paraprofessional position. This is an entry level position assisting firm management (three persons).  A goals-oriented, detail-oriented person could launch a successful career from this position.

We seek a person with strong communication skills, as well as strong Microsoft Office experience. Communication will bePeople Technology Policy Process paramount in this position, as the successful candidate will act as a ghost writer, scheduler, and web blog maintainer for the executives of the firm. Job description includes: staffing a low-volume call center during normal business hours, website maintenance (blog posting), editing and proofreading (blog posts, published articles, sales presentations, etc.), reviewing reports for grammar and spelling issues, keeping a calendar for three executives, making travel arrangements for executives, etc. Strong experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is critical. Experience in WordPress, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Youtube a plus. Great entry-level opportunity!!

We want somebody strong on Office 2010 or at least Office 2007.   You should excel on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You must be able to work 8-5 M-F without fail, and work from our Lafayette office (not your home).  You must be organized.  Willing to make calls to existing and potential Clients to establish schedules, follow-up on appointments, etc. You must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised.  There will be some minor travel (Indianapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Louisville, etc. for conferences.)   You must show a flair for maintaining Web 2.0 applications (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WordPress, MailMan, ConstantContact).

 

COMPENSATION

People Technology Policy Process

NOC ASSOCIATE POSITION DESCRIPTION

infotex, a preferred service provider of the Indiana Bankers Association,is needing to fill a part-time entry-level position in our Network Operations Center (NOC).

We are looking for a thorough, detail oriented NOC Technician to analyze Intrusion Prevention System events, handle incidents, respond to network monitoring alarms,manage emergencies on BSD Unix and Linux servers, etc.

The successful candidate will have already built a home network, have an undying curiosity about network security, be very punctual, know how to communicate, and want to grow in a company that provides excellent service to our banking and healthcare clients. General networking experience is a must, and experience in Unix and Information Security is desired. Certifications and/or degrees are a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION

This is a “1099 Contract Employee” position. Compensation will be based on skills and experience, and ranges from $60 to $125 per shift. This is an entry level position in a quickly growing MSSP that serves the financial and healthcare industry. The NOC, and infotex in general, are oriented toward teaching. This position is an excellent opportunity to expand experience into many areas of security and networking.

HOURS

Two shift-types available: 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. to 8:15 a.m.
